Stan Knott
Stan is Standard Media’s Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Stan served as Vice President of Broadcast Markets for Media General, Inc., where he was a key member of the leadership team responsible for market oversight and implementing the Company’s strategic and operational objectives. Stan had direct oversight responsibilities for 16 stations serving 12 markets. He also led marketing initiatives and national news and graphics hubs serving Media General’s 71 stations.
Stan previously served as Vice President and General Manager of WKRN in Nashville, WOFL/WRBW in Orlando, WDAF in Kansas City, and WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama. Stan has also served as News Director for WBRC-Birmingham and Assistant News Director for WBRC and WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee. Stan was a member of the Fox Television Affiliate Board and is a Bright Lights of Journalism Award recipient.
